I designed this piece last July when we knew my mother-in-law's days were not many. My daughter showed me a "mourning stone," a sculpture from Colonial Pennsylvania and I just sat and designed this piece. It is my tribute to the loving, caring woman that my mother-in-law was. We often find solace in our needlework and I hope that this design relays that peace to you.
