Long Dog Samplers tells us: "The Lady Garden is a horticultural hybrid, much like the blowsy tea roses created in France in the mid 1800’s. It’s rooted in good Quaker soil with many of the plants having been shipped across the choppy North Sea from nurseries in the Low Countries.
The rabbits and squirrels are native fauna of the British Isles but who knows where those birds come from, they just wafted in on the breeze.
Pop a Lady Garden in your trug, they’re not very heavy, and remember to water it well when it arrives in your seed tray."
